Website delivery and security

This website is hosted using Cloudflare Workers Static Assets. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the site, technical connection data such as your IP address, the requested URL, the time of the request and browser information is processed to deliver the pages and protect against attacks.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide a secure and reliably accessible website. We do not create visitor profiles or use analytics to identify individual visitors. Technical data is needed only for as long as necessary to deliver and operate the website and investigate security incidents; processing by the provider is also governed by its documented terms.

Cloudflare also processes data outside the EU. For covered transfers to the US, Cloudflare refers to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; for other transfers, it uses safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses. Details of these safeguards are available in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies, external content and preferences

The website code uses no analytics or advertising trackers, externally loaded fonts, or embedded maps, videos or social media widgets. It sets no cookies and does not persistently store your form entries or animation preference. Our website does not perform automated decision-making or profiling.

Preparing an enquiry

The contact form uses your name, company, email address, topic, optional website and message to prepare an email draft directly in your browser. These entries are not sent to a website server before you open your email application. You send the message yourself from that application. Alternatively, you can copy the draft and use it in webmail.

A general topic such as ‘Marketing’ may appear in the page URL to preselect it. Personal form entries are not added to the page URL. Using the form is optional; you can also contact us directly by email.

Email enquiries

When you send an email, we process your contact details, the message and any attachments to handle and respond to your enquiry. For enquiries relating to a potential contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. For other enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f), based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We cannot reply without a working contact address.

Our mailbox is hosted by IONOS. The forwarding currently in place means that Microsoft Outlook also receives incoming messages. Information about the respective processing activities is available from IONOS and in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Microsoft also describes processing outside the EU and the transfer safeguards it uses, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We retain enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and, where applicable, carry out a subsequent engagement. They are then deleted unless statutory retention requirements or legitimate grounds for establishing or defending claims require otherwise. Documents subject to statutory retention are restricted from use for other purposes and deleted when the applicable retention period ends.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the place where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.
